Winter Closures of Certain rare Trails Begins November 15

From November 15 to March 15, our Osprey Tower, River, Woodland & Alvar trails will be closed to the public. This is done for safety reasons, and to protect eagles in their habitat over the winter. Eagles are sensitive to human disturbance and conserve their energy over the winter by perching 90% of the time. Let’s leave them in peace by hiking elsewhere.

The ECO and Grand Trunk trails in the area remain open year-round, as do the Grand Allée, Maple Lane and Deer Run trails so we’ll see you there!
